Maroon
and White Night...huge success!
Thank you to everyone who came to the
club’s annual Maroon and White Night. I
think the kids had fun. I know I
did. This was a great warm-up for the
season opener at Seneca. A big “thank you” to all the parents who
volunteered to make the evening possible.
We couldn’t do it without your help.
It’s that kind of volunteer work we’ll need for our home dual meets
too. Thanks!

LRWC web site... www.littleredskins.com
Our Little Redskins web site is a vital part of the
club. All club information will be on
the site. Practice times, schedule,
changes to practice, LRWC News Letter, pictures of the kids from
tournaments/duals or cancellations, etc. etc. etc.... Everything. It's used as one of the major communication
tools for the club. Check your
email!!!!!!! Coach Shaw has done a great job with it but does not have the
time anymore. We are looking for a new
"web master." If this is
something you can help out with, talk to Coach Shaw.
Wrestling tournament procedure....
I will be
collecting all tournament forms and entry fees this year. Every tournament will have a due date. Most due dates will be 2-3 Mondays before
the actual tournament date. Please get your paper work and entry fees in on
time. The tournaments we go to require
us to preregister. If you don't have
your paper work in, you may not be able to compete. Tournament forms will be handed out during the season. Unless
otherwise noted; MAKE TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: Little Redskins W.C. or LRWC. Seneca

Home "match-up" dual meets...
Sign-up sheets for Little Redskin dual meets can be found
on the information table. As of now we
have three home duals and one away(Minooka) dual this year. Sign-up sheets for these duals will be on
the information table. There will be
cut off dates for these duals to give us time to coordinate with the other
teams. We need volunteers/parents at
these events. Look for more information
on the duals soon.
USA Wrestling Winter Nationals in Danville, IL...
The USA Wrestling Winter National tournament is Nov. 23 and 24th. This is a two-day event held in Danville,
IL. We have four families going right
now. The club has four rooms reserved
if anyone is interested. Contact Mrs.
Bordner for room details.
MRSA, MRSA, MRSA...
Staph infection is not a joke. Ringworm is not a joke.
Good hygiene is the key.
Wrestlers need to bathe after every practice. Moms and dads, make sure the boys do this. Don't let the kids borrow headgear, knee
pads or any other sports equipment.
Check your wrestler's body often.
If there is a red mark or open sore that looks like an infected pimple,
go to the doctor. If you're in doubt at
all, go have it checked out.
Singlets and Ts...
If you have not received your team singlet or T-shirt, see
Coach Bonic ASAP.
