Celebrate
the 2010 wrestling season with fellow LRWC members at an informal dinner
gathering.
We will have a short awards
presentation starting at 6pm, followed by pasta and chicken.
Bring a dessert if you would like.
The gym will be available
afterwards. Please reply with RSVP and number attending. Thanks.
Also, if you have not returned your
singlet, please do so.
If you volunteered at the
tournament and return your singlet at the banquet, you will receive your
$50 volunteer fee check.

Crosstown
and Reed Custer Tournaments are due by the 18Th of December. Make sure you
get signed up in time.
I'm
looking to see if any families would be interested in tickets to go watch
John Dergo wrestle at U of I January 8, 2010. Brent Dite is able to
get us free tickets for parents and kids in the club. Due to NCAA rules we
are unable to give any of these tickets to High School students those would
have to be purchased . If anyone is interested please e-mail me or contact
me at practice.

Parents,
Photos
are scheduled for this Saturday the 5Th. You need to be there about 9:15a.m.
Pictures will start about 9:30a.m. Parents need to stay with the kids. They
can go home after their individual and group photo is done. The kids are to
wear there singlets and wrestling shoes. The coaches need to wear their
team shirts. Payment for photos is due that day.
Practice
is canceled for this Friday the 4Th and next Friday the 11Th for both
groups.
Yorkville
tournament money is due by this Saturday.
If
you don't have your singlet yet you need to see me before Saturday at
practice.

Happy Thanksgiving!
To
all our Little Redskins Families.
Reminders:
-There is no practice this Friday the 27th 2009 for
either groups. We'll see you guys back on Monday
-Parents wrestlers and families need to use the side
door entering and leaving practice that goes to the small gym or the
wrestling room door on the west. YOU MAY NOT USE THE FRONT DOORS ANYMORE!
Make sure all the wrestlers attend practice Monday the
30th 2009 we will be handing out team singlets and photo information for
next week.
We have nine wrestlers attending Winter Nationals this
weekend in Danville Il. I'd like to wish you boys good luck wrestle hard!
Those boys are Cody Baldridge,Kenny Baldridge,Robby Bates,Kevin
Countryman,Mitch Dite,Merrick Hairapetian,Briar Russell,Shain
Hennessey,Dylan Thompson,Dalton Ness, and possibly Tyler Bordner.

LRWC Corn Fest Float

What a great Corn Fest week hope you all enjoyed
yourselves!
We had a great turn out for our first ever Corn fest float. We laughed and
had a great time. I'd like to take a minute and thank some kids and parents
for all their hard work.
First I would like to thank the Kodat family for all their help and
especially for the use of their big tractor. I do believe we had the
biggest tractor in all the parade.
To our older Little Redskins who have now moved on to High School thanks
goes to: Cory Kodat,Hunter Barry,Justin Barkley,Brent Johnson,and Ethan
Chouinard. Thank you for continuing to support and help out the club. You
boys are great role models and the little ones look up to you. Good luck
this year in High School Wrestling we'll be there to cheer you on.
To all of our boys who rode the float today to cheer and support the club.
